It's a rainy spring in the year 2020, times going, your enjoying your senior year & the COUNT DOWN IS ON! The good stuff is coming.. you know what I mean. Senior breakfast, graduation practice, prom, spring sports, senior skip day, spring break, GRADUATION! All these things that you dream of all four years of high school, and now you've been robbed of them. Not by choice, but by an unexpected virus and government shutdowns that have halted these valuable moments of time. Its devastating, heartbreaking, discouraging, unexpected, and yet here we are. This is a pandemic. You don't see it coming and its definitely not in our favor. It has affected so many things.. jobs, school, social gatherings, family visits, events, ect. Today, the board of education canceled prom. WTF!? I know that's what I said. They also delayed graduation until June, but hey they are allowing that! Here's that sad part. If your like me, and from a split family, you have four parents?! The second disheartening thing, they are only allowing 2 people per graduate. I am hopeful things will change with time, as this was an early decision and we are still over a month out, but trying to grasp that alone sucks. My heart has been hurting for so many during this time, especially my seniors. Class of 2020, you are bound for greatness, you will do incredible things, and will experience unforgettable moments. While this is not what was pictured, nor ideal. I hope you hold your head high with every accomplishment you have made to become apart of the Class of 2020, a year that will never be forgotten. While you end your senior year with a face mask, and possibly hoarding toilet paper :D, know you made it. You did something that should make you smile from ear to ear, that will lead you into the next part of your life, and you can say you did it! I am proud of you, as are many others. I wish you a future of happiness, success, and unforgettable memories. We will all rise past this and you will never forget this moment in time.
D-Max Photography will be making some changes due to the pandemic to be aware of. I will start to take on sessions beginning the week of May 11. I will be wearing a mask for all future sessions until further notice. I will be sanitizing and disinfecting between every session. I do plan to continue with prom portraits, because you deserve that! You deserve to dress up, feel beautiful/ handsome, and wear that dress or tux you paid for. These will be by appointment this year, instead of first come first serve to better serve you. I hope you make the most of the time given, even with restrictions, and I hope you dance your ass off. So many are rooting for you.
Prom background is going to be a surprise this year! I promised myself I would be doing more co-working in the year 2020 and I am doing just that! Can not wait for you to see! Date to be announced next week! I love explanation points, lol. Enjoy some old homecoming and prom portraits just because. <3
